  ABOUT BSFA

Formed in 1989, the British Sighthound Field Association (BSFA) runs Lure Coursing at monthly meetings from March until October, inclusive.

As its name suggests, the BSFA lure courses all breeds of Sighthound including Afghan Hound, Basenji, Borzoi, Greyhound, Ibizan Hound, Irish Wolfhound, Pharaoh Hounds, Saluki, Sloughi, Scottish Deerhound and Whippet.

No live game is ever used at our events of the lure coursing dogs. Many of the Breed clubs has fully endorsed our sport and has commended our efforts for promoting responsible dog ownership.

Not only do we encourage good health and safe exercise for our dogs, but all our officials are always ready and happy to direct newcomers to the right source of information concerning any health or handling questions they might have.

Please come back again shortly as we are developing more content for this page.

Thank you for your interest.
